Rethinking the right way
Watching my daughter attack a new puzzle, I was a bit baffled. Upon dumping out the pieces, she quickly assembled one of the characters. It did not bother her that half of the pieces weren't visible. Besides this obvious obstacle, the idea of starting with the border first—something I had always assumed was the "right way"—never crossed her mind.
And yet, she kept chugging along, happily and confidently, bringing her creation to life.
It struck me how easily she challenged a belief I had never questioned. That same day, I spoke to a client about setting goals, and my guidance was: The right way is the one that works for you.
Whether it's puzzles or progress, there isn't one universal path—only the one that moves you forward.
