I Want Less
This wasn’t the post I planned to write today.
I had another topic drafted, but somewhere between the sixth closet being purged and yet another attempt to simplify our schedule, I was struck by a clear desire:
I want less.
Less stress.
Less complexity.
Less decisions.
Less unnecessary burdens.
It’s easy to keep chasing more. The next project. The bigger goal. The idea that growth must always mean addition.
A leader once told me, “No one ever gets a prize for taking something away.”
At the time, I nodded along. I “got it.”
But today, I “get it.”
Because less is actually more.
More focus.
More clarity.
More time.
More significance.
I offer you the question I asked myself this afternoon:
What can you take away this week to make room for more?
